I'm a traveler, aviation enthusiast, photographer, deadhead, and web developer. When not building UI's used by over a million users per month, I'm out trying to explore California and the world, FR24 in hand.

For as long as I can remember I've had my own corner of the web. As I've grown older in age and career, I've gathered more and more interests and content to share and want to have a singular place to share it all, for both myself and others.

I'm trying something new with the wiki aspect of this site, and it will always be a work in progress. Please poke around!

Living

Marin County, California 🌁 just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. My wife and I have lived here for over 5 years after spending most of our lives in Indiana. I'm originally from Asheville, North Carolina, and plan to move back there someday.

Working

Currently working as a full-stack-ish developer (with a major focus on UI engineering) at seats.aero. I also have my own consultancy for web development services, The Component Studio, although I've mostly taken a break from it to focus on seats.aero

I really love the web and have been working on it for over 10 years. Performant, accessible, and user-friendly web applications are my passion.

Spare time

Chasing award-flight redemptions and planning the next trip (Turkey 🇹🇷 is up next), taking photos when I can 500px, working on a myriad of personal projects, and going to concerts (mostly local Grateful Dead shows). I love to travel, experience new cultures and food, and nerd out about airlines and the airline industry as a whole. I spend way too much time on the computer, but when I'm not, I'm hiking, riding my bike around the Bay Area, or spending time with my wife.
